It's long, but worth the read!
As you may or may not know, April 6th of 2024 was my last day as a Law Enforcement Officer. After 14 years of total service and working with and getting to know some of the best Law Enforcement officers in the country and some abroad I decided to take a different approach in this journey we call life!

In 2019 I got COVID before it was technically named, a few people labeled me as "Patient 0" at the Police Department lol. Well, during that time I secluded myself to a room in my house. Grinding away at call of duty when I had any amount of energy, the rest of the time was spent watching movies, sleeping or watching people stream Call of Duty. I was a part of a FB Gaming page for police officers, when one night someone shared one of the most ADHD police officers I have ever seen. Officer Messer! I am pretty sure at that time he was streaming to the view of about 10-20 people. I started talking in his chat, we began playing call of duty together and would talk daily about police, gaming, lifestyles etc.

Over the next few years it became evident this man had a mission and a goal set in place that I would 1000% stand behind! That mission is "Bridging the Gap" and "Humanizing the Badge". It went from discussing police duties, interactions with the public, and just overall general knowledge of how the job went to expanding on helping people. Messer went on to start a 501C3 called Serve First Foundation. I have been to West Virginia numerous times over the past few years to help deliver 100's of bicycles to children who could potentially be left without anything on Christmas if it was not for this foundation and the amazing community/family that Messer and TARP has evolved into.

I say all that to say this, this weekend a small part of this amazing community/family will have the honor to be representing what has been built in Michigan at the Gamers for Gaming 2025 hosted by Gamers Outreach. We will be raising money for GO Karts (Gamers Outreach Karts) which are portable video game kiosks built specifically for hospitals. Through TARP/GO working together there have been numerous GO Karts added to children's hospitals around the country!
