After over a month of no new games, Sakura Wars comes out and it was a truly magnificent and emotional game. Between the characters and story, it delivered right up till the end. Would definitely recommend for anybody else in a gaming dry spell right now 😊
@DyingLightGame Restore the opening intro. Idk who you all were trying to cater to, but it definitely wasn’t true fans of the game. Butchering the beginning of a game to get you excited and invested in the world and characters is a huge mistake and oversight. What happened to you guys?
@nuhre_ Seeing some of the comments, that’s exactly what’s going on. New people don’t care and think this looks “amazing” despite its entire identity being stripped. They’re fine with it being a normal generic RPG and hooking an entire new generation with an established franchise.
Your unwritten epic begins.🔥

@nuhre_ It’s a normal RPG, larping as Fable. They could’ve given any other name to this, and people would’ve been excited to play. Instead they blemish the entire series by using its name and established community to try and drive sales, while removing all the iconic features.
@TheGingerPerks I do wish to go back to a time where we all just talked about the different games we enjoy, even if you didn’t like a particular game yourself. I could yap forever about games though 😅 Even found you through your gaming tweets, and have really enjoyed the topics and opinions.
@TheGingerPerks Gaming has been proven to help and work the mind just as much as reading a book, filling out crossword puzzles, or even watching jeopardy on tv with your grandparents because it’s fun and had you guessing. So many of these people calling it wasteful need to read a gaming manual.
Not to mention the quality of said games. This is the first year I’ve not bought a game I’ve wanted to try, even if I think I’ll like it, at launch. They’re either too short or doesn’t have enough content for replayabilty. We’re waiting years for $70 games and they’re incomplete.
$70 for any game is criminal.
I don’t care if it’s an indie game, a AAA game, a masterpiece, or the second coming of gaming itself. Seventy bucks is a lot of money.
The fact that some people now treat $70 as the starting price and expect consumers to be grateful for the privilege is insane.
@TheGingerPerks Honestly, same. Mostly because I typically don’t always play a game again after first beating it and when I do it’s eventually years later, especially with huge choice based games. So when saves are available, I want to play and experience the way I would want the first time.
The thing I’ll always find stupid about GT being non-canon and the absolute disrespect is that, not only was it considered “canon” before Super came out, but as soon as Super existed, there was no reason for GT not to still be canon considering the entire premise of Super.
@TheGingerPerks Same here. I also didn’t know if I would based on reviews, but I bought it last December when it was on sale and I was surprised how much fun I had. Obviously there’s so many things I wish you could have done being open world, but the story and characters, I was invested.
@TheGingerPerks There’s a bigger topic on this that I could go on and on about, but to sort of shorten it, one of the cool things about video games is its ability to grow and adapt. It’s the only form of media that is able to combine all other art forms, story being one of those.
@nuhre_ No like legit, when I played SH2 Remake I didn’t remember how to get all endings, so I looked them up. And apparently the most “common” ending involved not killing everything in sight and running past enemies to “save” your ammo. Everything was dead my first playthrough 😂
@nuhre_ Maybe they’ll bring back the morality system with this delay. I want my character having the devil and angel aesthetic depending on my choices.
@TheGingerPerks I’m excited to play, though I’m waiting on the Switch 2 version since that’s where I main most of my games nowadays. So that’s going to be awhile before I get to enjoy it 😄
@turnintoabat You’d hate the Persona series…and most anime based games 😂 Along with all the other examples everyone else in the comments have made already.
