It was a wonderful evening at the NYC Racquet and Tennis Club as we kicked off the holiday season with our 43rd Annual Holiday Reception, honoring Robert S. Tucker, Commissioner of the Fire Department of New York City and recipient of the 2025 Silver Shield Foundation Person of the Year Award. We were joined by representatives from the NYPD, FDNY, our Board of Trustees, and members of the Silver Shield Foundation family.

The 6th Annual SSF Greenwich Walk was held this past Saturday at Tod’s Point and it was a gorgeous day. SSF Trustee Chuck Scarborough emceed the event. Walkers, Silver Shield LOD families, CT, NY, and NJ State Police Greenwich PD, FD and EMS and others came together to show their unwavering support.
