During the Dementia Awareness Week, our silver wishes were granted at The Fairway. Charlie the Donkey visited the residents and what a huge impact he made on the home. Charlies's calming nature was excellent therapy for the residents and seemed to make everyone calm and happy.

Fantastic Donation for Campaign
Paula and Karen from Stevenage Home Counties Association of Spiritual Healers came to Jubilee Court care home to present a cheque for £500 to help make residents wishes come true. Thank you Paula and Karen!

Local Councillor Francis Button made a resident’s dream come true when she stepped up to help staff at The Fairway grant 82 year old Rose O’Conner’s greatest wish. As part of our Silver Wishes campaign Rose spent the day with the animals at the zoo.

MP presents 100 year Ernie with Hertsmere MP Oliver Dowden CBE came to Heath House in Bushey to present Ernest Searling with his medal in recognition of being appointed to the rank of Chevalier in the French Ordre national de la Legion d’honneur.

Jubilee Court and Heath House were delighted that a few of their residents had their Silver Wishes granted! They enjoyed a trip to The West End to see Kinky Boots; this was donated by a member of the public that donated 6 tickets to the Silver Wishes. Thank you for your kindness.

Residents from 7 @QuantumCareLtd homes are underway with carers and families on-board the Sheldrake 3 boat! The trip, booked with @WaterwaysEXP, grants wishes for 17 of our residents at once, from wishes specifically to go on a boat trip to spending a day out with a loved one.

Carmela’s Silver Wish came true at Providence Court last night when care worker Tasha cooked a delicious Italian meal with her residents! Together they made an amazing lasagne, side salad and Tiramisu which they washed down with a glass of Italian red!

Michael, Fred and John's wish to go to Lord’s Cricket Ground was granted last week! They had a private tour with Mike Gatting, including a look inside the players’ dressing room! It was great to see them listening to Mike’s stories and talking about cricket from different eras!
