Yes, the department of Education has been an unmitigated disaster. Year after year, decade after decade test scores go down. Proficiency goes down. Inappropriate behavior, violence, drug usage goes up. School should be a safe zone to educate and improve, not a lurid warzone controlled by thugs, dealers, and managed by burnouts who are just watching the clock until retirement.
