Count of Monte Cristo isn’t “slop” but it is a serial that’s pretty easy to read and is more plot focused than a lot of “””serious literature””” so it’s easy for people to get a superiority complex about it. That being said the anime where the count is Blue Dracula rocks

I think some contexts can be weird (like I don't love CW Barry and Iris growing up in the same house and Iris' adoption being erased, just wasn't necessary but it worked bc Joe rules), but it's not literally a stepsiblings scenario. It's just childhood friends.

@soilfingers @hurtandcomfort Tbf Walmart is kind of a small mall more than just a supermarket. There's usually a separate supermarket set of aisles and then there's also like mattresses and video games and shit. It's got everything.
