🇺🇸US Ambassador to 🇬🇷Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle is bragging about US having overthrown the latest 🇷🇴Romanian government by reason of it having refused to sign up to the US-controlled “Vertical Corridor”, LNG supply route to the Balkan Peninsula.
“We can do this to any country we want. We can do this here (in Greece) too”, Guilfoyle added.
Initial signatories of the Vertical Corridor project were 🇬🇷Greece, 🇧🇬Bulgaria, 🇷🇴Romania and 🇭🇺Hungary in 2016.
But Romania later resisted in sharing up on the Capex - projected to amount to €1.65 billion at least - or buying US LNG at above-market prices.
Since then 🇦🇱Albania, 🇲🇰North Macedonia, 🇲🇩Moldova, 🇸🇰Slovakia, 🇷🇸Serbia and 🇺🇦Ukraine have also signed MOUs with US on participating in the project, but without a clear investment commitment.
A Texas investor with ties to the Trump family, Gentry Beach - who has been actively promoting joint US-Russia LNG projects in Alaska and Siberia - has been rumoured to also circle around various meetings about the future of the Vertical Corridor.
Ivanka Trump and other members of the Trump family are incidentally announcing tourism infrastructure projects - with unspecified funding sources - in Albania and other Balkan countries that have signed up to the Vertical Corridor.
Overthrowing governments standing in the way of the US-controlled fossil fuel corridor for 🇪🇺Europe built with 🇷🇺Russian money and benefitting the Trump family “resorts” - what could potentially go wrong with such a strategy?
@sabriamcaparodi I-ai uitat pe "prieteni" de la vest. Grecia nu v-a așteapta invitație specială . Credeți că uită pogromurile împotriva lor ? Uită de Cipru ? Niciodată .
