We enjoyed a visit from 20 Medical Engineering students from @skr_ac1301 Sakura Medical Welfare College (Tochigi, Japan) yesterday! The students participated in manikin programming, Adult & Peds airway simulations and CPR.
Earlier this month, we conducted our last FunSim course of 2025! We had a great turnout with participants from @UHInternalMed, Hawaii, Thailand, Japan and Korea!
Last wk, 50+ educators from local public & private schools visited @uhmedjabsom as part of the Huakaʻi Initiative to learn more abt JABSOM and careers in medicine. Dr. Jannet and Kris provided a hands-on learning experience for the visitors in our sim lab!

Uwajima City Hospital residents joined us last wk for our Honolulu Uwajima Medical Learning Alliance (HULA) workshop. They engaged in ped emergency scenarios, self directed learning, lap training & more! We were lucky to enjoy an ukulele performance by one of the residents!
SimTiki enjoyed an engaging and fun time with senior nursing students from Busan Health University, South Korea this wk. 2 half days of pediatric patient safety sim and infant manikin scenarios. Happy Aloha Friday!
