Related, it sucks how unemployment can literally end friendships. Sometimes it’s not intentional. The unemployed friend hardly shows up coz showing up costs money, while the employed friend naturally spends more time with other employed friends. Eventually, the distance grows.
I feel like evil is rampant. It’s disheartening how many people are behaving immorally without any shame and disregard for the next person.

In order to become a better person, you must first realize how horrible you really are. Not in the dramatic sense, but in the quiet ways you sabotage yourself, repeat unhealthy patterns, hurt people who care about you, or tolerate what wounds you. You cannot grow if you keep pretending you're innocent in the story you've created.
I can understand the pain of being cheated on, but being introduced to their family and friends, while everyone knows your partner has someone else except you, is just cruel.
If you offer me a sincere apology and change your behavior, I'll never bring up our past issues again. But if no apology was given and you're still repeating mistakes, you can't ask me to stop mentioning the past. The past is actually the present if you haven't changed.
