Before the IRGC listing, we were promised conscripts wouldn't be affected. After the listing, we were assured decisions would be made case by case to avoid penalizing people for mandatory service they couldn't refuse.
But the first "case-by-case" outcome just released is a rejection, solely because of mandatory conscription.
Broken promises, and innocent people are paying the price.

Keep Canada safe by targeting real security threats — not people who were forced into compulsory conscription.

Canada has publicly said that compulsory conscription is assessed case by case and that “conscription alone does not necessarily result in inadmissibility.” Yet lawyers and affected families say former conscripts are still receiving PFLs and adverse immigration consequences based on what they did not choose.
