You're lying @elonmusk. These crosses were placed temporarily in 2020 as a symbolic protest following the murder of a farming couple, but they do NOT represent ‘one cross for every murdered white farmer’. They are simply a short-lived memorial to draw attention to criminal attacks that take place in rural areas including on farms affecting everyone (most victims are black). The last official crime stats say 6 murders were recorded in farming communities. 5 of the victims are black (2 farm owners, 2 employees & 1 farm manager). The 1 white victims was a farm dweller. 🇿🇦 law enforcement agencies are treating this category of crime as a priority and as stats are showing, numbers have significantly come down which means we are winning the battle.
These tweets are more painful than what was said on open chats......Gayton McKenzie is a hypocrite. Let's not let these incidents divide us, because coloured women are beautiful 🌹
Here is some background on the DJ Sumbody murder arrests.
Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi gave some clues about what was to come during his 06 July 2025 press conference.
At the time, he referenced guns that were seized during the April 2024 arrests of three suspects, including a police officer (W/O Pule Tau), for the murder of Armand Swart.
This was a collaborative effort between the Gauteng Organised Crime Unit and the Political Killings Task Team, which was requested to help due to the possible infiltration of the criminal justice system.
Then, businessman Katiso Molefe was arrested in December 2024 for the same case.
Mkhwanazi said a ballistics report later that month - a day before the PKTT disbandment letter issued by police minister Senzo Mchunu - linked the recovered guns to a number of "high profile cases, including South African artists."
The firearms had been examined by a ballistics expert from the PKTT.
Molefe was released on bail last month in a matter presided over by the Gauteng deputy judge president.
This followed a failed attempt in April, after the police opposed bail.
Interestingly, at the time of the re-arrests today, a well-known politician and other business people were found to have been visiting the suspects.
More details from court on @eNCA #DStv403 tomorrow.
How did we get here, where the President no longer takes serious questions or grants serious interviews—even in times of crisis? When did we start accepting this silence as normal?
What Mkhwanazi exposed is just the tip of the iceberg. The Durban port is one of the biggest crime hubs in the country. Human trafficking, drug smuggling, and the disappearance of children, all flow through there. And all of it has been protected and enabled by SAPS and the ANC.
As this Police Corruption story develops, South Africans must pay attention to the narrative driven by the media. Discredited and unethical people like Paul O'Sullivan are granted airtime and allowed to spew bile on air without scrutiny.
Mkhwanazi just lifted the lid about the systemic collapse of our law enforcement and the criminal justice system, we can't be subjected to some flimsy stories about Gucci bags.
President @CyrilRamaphosa should immediately suspend Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, and implicated police officers.
The allegations made by KZN Commissioner, Lt.Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi are damning.
The criminal justice system has again been badly comprised.
With crime levels as high as they are and organised crime syndicates thriving, we cannot allow this nonsense.
The police are in a mess!
The President should also appoint an independent commission of inquiry without delay to get to the bottom of this once and for all.
RT if you agree.

Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi🇿🇦
Today he exposed the rot within our criminal justice system and bravely called out Police Minister Senzo Mchunu and his crew for allegedly working hand-in-hand with criminals.
WE STAND WITH MKHWANAZI!
It’s time to clean up SAPS and jail those corrupt politicians and generals who are betraying this country.
We are tired of blood being spilled while leaders protect killers for power and money.
ARREST THEM ALL!
No one is above the law. We need accountability, not mafias in government!
