But this man is the brain behind so many successes in IPOB. Only his signature can settle all your immigration problems in any part of Europe. He speaks little, but his pen commands global attention. When he writes, important people listen. Ask IPOB members in Europe and in other parts of the world, they don’t joke with him, because he is a valuable asset to IPOB.

He may not look flashy or issue orders for people to be killed, as some of you might want. He is highly educated, intelligent, and diplomatic in handling difficult situations.

He is Mazi Chika Edoziem, the Head of the Directorate of States of IPOB.

A few months ago, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, was talking tough about defeating Governor Alex Otti in the next governorship election and taking over Abia State. He was seen at several political gatherings confidently telling Governor Otti to start packing his belongings.

At the same time, Hon. Mascot Kalu, the younger brother of former Governor Orji Uzor Kalu, was also seriously warming up for the governorship race. He even went ahead and purchased the APC nomination and expression of interest forms. But in the end, Mascot Kalu withdrew his ambition, while Benjamin Kalu quietly changed his mind after realizing that challenging Alex Otti would be an almost impossible mission and he might lose everything both his seat at the Green Chamber.

For a long time, Benjamin Kalu and the Abia APC mounted pressure on Governor Alex Otti to join their party. However, the governor paid little attention to the political noise. Instead, he focused on governance, delivering projects, commissioning infrastructure, and working for the people of Abia State.

As time went on, it became clear why they changed their strategy. They saw a governor whose performance was speaking louder than politics. Eventually, APC had to settle for another candidate just to ensure the party remained on the ballot for the 2027 governorship election.

Even Senator Orji Uzor Kalu appears more focused on his own re-election bid than on challenging Governor Otti. The reality is simple: it is difficult to defeat a leader who has earned the trust and confidence of the people through visible results.

Why is nobody eager to face Alex Otti head-on? Because elections are not won by noise alone. They are won by public confidence, credibility, and performance. Many Abians believe Governor Otti has transformed the conversation from promises to results, and that makes him a formidable opponent for anyone seeking to unseat him.

This is why it is important to silence critics and opponents with performance. When your work speaks for itself, your opponents become confused, their plans begin to change, and their confidence starts to fade. Governor Alex Otti till 2031.

After watching you speak face-to-face to the president last night without mincing words or any fear of favour, I was marvelling that we still have your type in Igboland.

Eze Lawrence Agubuzu, you are not just Eze but the only leader in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria who can boldly represent us without fear or favour.

When others positioned themselves to be noticed, thereby telling the president lies, you distinguished yourself by saving the image of Igboland and the Igbo blood.

The way the president celebrated you during your speech showed that you are the only Igbo leader who had told him the truth that others used to lie to him about the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and affair of the Igbos. They told him lies with a fake promise that Igbos belong to them and they will deliver the president before 10 AM in the morning just to attract more political favours. So many people have written me personally to say “Joe, you need to stop advocating for a national divorce! It’s unfair.”

If you’re one of those people, could you please give me just 3 reasons why you are so scared of national divorce from a forced marriage.

Also, if in your absence your daughter was forced into a marriage that has since become fatally abusive, would you advocate for her to continue in that marriage while you’re still alive?

FGN Must End Double Standards and Release Nnamdi Kanu Immediately
We note with deep concern the recent reports that Isiya Kwashen Garwa—a notorious bandit leader declared wanted by Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters in 2022 with a ₦5 million bounty—has now been approached with pleas to accept a peace deal in Katsina State.

This development raises a fundamental question of fairness and justice: Why is a confirmed criminal being courted for reconciliation, while Nnamdi Kanu, a mere political agitator and the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), continues to languish in detention for years?

The Federal Government of Nigeria cannot justify such glaring double standards. If a wanted bandit can be offered dialogue and freedom, then there is absolutely no moral or legal basis for keeping Nnamdi Kanu behind bars.
We therefore call on the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) to forthwith release Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally. His continued detention undermines the principles of equity, justice, and national healing.

It was gathered that the armed assailants laid an ambush for the security team around 1:00 a.m. while they were trailing the gang following an earlier attempted attack in the area.
At least two soldiers and two vigilante members were reportedly killed in the early hours of Tuesday after they were ambushed by suspected bandits in the Dogon Ruwa community of Bashar District, Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.

It was gathered that the armed assailants laid an ambush for the security team around 1:00 a.m. while they were trailing the gang following an earlier attempted attack in the area.

Meanwhile, in the aftermath of the attack, the bandits reportedly carted away rifles belonging to the slain soldiers.

Daily Trust reports that Abdullahi Yakubu, the traditional leader of Safiyo, under whose jurisdiction Dogon Ruwa falls, confirmed the incident.

He condemned the attack, stating that the victims were caught off guard.

Yakubu said, “There was a report that the bandits were coming to attack Dogon Ruwa, and people quickly alerted security forces who quickly mobilised and moved to where they were said to have been sighted.

“While on their way to the area, unknown to the security, the bandits had laid an ambush and opened fire at them, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers and two vigilantes."

Another resident of the community, Ibrahim Sale, commenting on the incident, said, “After killing the security personnel, the bandits also took away the soldiers' rifles and uniforms.”

Sale added that the attack has sparked confusion and growing resentment among residents of Dogon Ruwa and neighbouring communities.

When SaharaReporters contacted the spokesperson for the Plateau State Police Command, Alfred Alabo, he refused to respond. Subsequent attempts to reach him by phone were also declined.
