@jussiemow The ileostomy was created as an emergency life saving surgery for Crohns perforation and peritonitis. Due to Crohns and short bowel, this was a high output stoma leading to severe malnutrition, weight loss, and dehydration requiring recurrent hospitalisations with kidney failure
I myself underwent brain surgery at Addenbrookes, 4 years ago this year, for the removal of a tumour. These surgeons,doctors and nurses are true heroes and my family and I will forever be grateful for the work they do ❤️ #surgeonsattheedgeoflife
