Broxburn Athletic can confirm the departure of former club captain, Nick Locke. Nick has arguably been Broxburn's most successful captain in the recent era with two historic runs in the Scottish Cup including our first live televised match and winning the East of Scotland Premier Division amongst many other memorable moments.
Nick leaves the club having amassed over 200 appearances and netting 56 times over two spells at the club, first joining in 2013 from Alloa Athletic and returning in 2023 from Bo'ness United.
All the best Nick, and thank you for all your commitment to the Brox.
Broxburn Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Morgaro Gomis.
A vastly experienced midfielder, Morgaro arrives at Albyn Park following an outstanding career at the highest levels of the game. His journey includes standout spells with Dundee United, where he won the Scottish Cup, as well as time in the English Championship with Birmingham City and the Scottish Premiership with Heart of Midlothian. He has also represented Senegal at international level.
Beyond his playing attributes, Morgaro’s leadership qualities and winning mentality make him a significant addition to the dressing room. His experience of elite environments will be invaluable as we continue building a squad capable of excelling in the Lowland League.
