@Mercury1712 Thank you so much! A great night and thank you for the recognition. As a team we would like to dedicate it to Mark Price - the heartbeat of the practice - in our thoughts and minds always. We miss you so much.
Our phone system and emails are not working this morning - we are trying to get this fixed urgently - please bear with us and apologies for any inconvenience.
Excellent article on @BBCNews Great advice and #optometry is still here to help. @CollegeOptomUK Coronavirus: Opticians advise screen breaks for children in lockdown https://t.co/mrQuXBtuf8
We would like to say a massive thank you to @aliciakearns for helping out with PPE. She has listened, responded and delivered - you can’t ask for much more! We remain open for urgent & emergency eye care, repairs, contact lenses - get in touch if you need help! #staysafestayhome

VISITING THE PRACTICE
(1) Maintain ‘Social Distancing’ of 2 metres (6 feet) whenever possible inside the practice. You may be asked to wait outside if we are particularly busy.
(2) You will be asked to sanitise your hands on entering the practice. 7/7
WE ARE HERE TO HELP IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE
If you are self-isolating, over 70 or in an at risk group and need glasses or contact lenses urgently please contact the practice to arrange for us to collect and/or deliver them. 6/7
PLEASE BE PATIENT
To help us stay open for the longest period possible we have divided our team into 2 groups (each working one week on & one week off). Please bear with us if it takes longer than usual to answer the phone or to serve you. 5/7
FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS
These will only be made for those with significant eye or vision problems or emergencies.
If you need glasses or contact lenses urgently we do not necessarily need to see you. Please call the practice to see how we can help. 4/7
PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE PRACTICE FOR ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS
To this end our policy now is that we will only be booking face to face appointments following a telephone consultation with an optometrist. 3/7
WE REMAIN OPEN
Our team is here to support you and the local community. We remain committed to providing you with the best possible eyecare in these difficult times – but if it doesn’t have to be face to face it shouldn’t be! 2/7
OUR LATEST ADVICE
It feels like the UK is sleep-walking into a crisis every bit as bad as that facing Italy at present. It is clearly imperative that we all limit the journeys we make and the number of interactions with other people. 1/7
