@Ofcom Thank you. I will do so as @virginmedia don't seem to care and are happy for customers to get threatening letters from O2/possible credit score problems because of their own errors in transitioning to a joint company with O2.

@virginmedia have been happy to merge with O2 and pretend they'd take care of payments to O2 by setting up a direct debit. You then get emails from O2 saying you owe them money without ever sending you any bills in the first place. Disgraceful from @virginmedia

@virginmedia Yes they should have been. But you failed to do it correctly meaning mine and plenty of others were asked for money directly from 02 without ever agreeing to any contract or payment type with them. I've cancelled the 02 SIM with them now but I want @Ofcom to investigate this.

@Ofcom are you aware @virginmedia are claiming to set up direct debits with 02, without customer permission and then 02 are asking for money as @virginmedia did not set it up correctly or notify customers they would need to pay 02? This has happened to a lot of people.

@virginmedia There isn't. It says there is an issue in the area as I was the one who logged it. It looks like the box (which is relatively new) has just gone bust for some reason. Not very good hardware! To be left 4 days without service is unacceptable though. Can I claim compensation?

@virginmedia hub 4 box flashed red today and got no service at all. Rang you and they couldn't fix. First available engineer date is Monday??? Over 4 days with no service at all is ridiculous for the money I pay.
