The irony of F1’s ‘green engines’:

All race cars combined over a season: ~150 tonnes CO₂.
F1’s total footprint from flying cargo around the world: ~250,000+ tonnes.

Even if fuel consumption tripled using V12s, that’s still <1% from the engines.
