The low block concerns are valid but there's a huge difference between the opposition ceding possession because they know we'll do nothing with it and teams surrendering the ball because they've been smothered by an aggressive, high press. Slot was the former, Iraola the latter.

🇫🇷 I think it speaks volumes that Jérémy Jacquet captained France at U16, U18, U19 and U20 level.

As well as a fantastic player, Liverpool are also getting a great character with leadership skills.

He hasn’t worn the armband at Rennes but you can see his leadership qualities on the pitch.

He’s always dictating and commanding his teammates - something that stood out to me right away.

Don’t see this often with a 20-year-old centre-back.
