@BBV10s As an 8 year old 1991 was my first season and I used to draw pictures after the races of a car crossing the finishing line and write down the positions. For this race I remember drawing a picture (I sadly no longer have😂) of mansell's car minus one wheel as it rolls sadly away!!
That is quite some headline @MailOnline…..
Does the poll “predict” that Starmer will be out of No 10 within a year?
I’m sure you know the answer already, but indulge me while a do a small 🧵looking at what the poll ACTUALLY shows!

@hardF1pics Schumacher, Senna, Lewis, Max. Harder to judge for modern drivers as they barely let them race in the more extreme rain. Honourable mention to Jean Alesi too, who was immense in the wet, driving on slicks in the rain for lap after lap I remember as a kid
I’m well chuffed that Richard Williams’ & my #F1 history podcast #AndColossallyThatsHistory is now #6 in #Spotify’s top history podcasts list (see screen-grab). It’s hard work to create but it’s great fun to do. Credit is also due to our brilliant producer, Jonny Reynolds. (1/2)
Great first episode back, I only discovered this podcast a few weeks ago, so very lucky that I haven't had to wait for season two like everyone else 🏎️
Series 2 episode 1 of #AndColossallyThatsHistory went live yesterday. It’s all about #SpyGate, the greatest #F1 espionage scandal of all time. Click below to have a listen. (2/2)

@TheBishF1@Autodromo_Monza One of those evocative names from the grid when I started watching F1. I'm sure everyone has those drivers from their early years who weren't at the front of the grid, but whose recollections immediately take you back to watching races on tv as a kid
@F1 I feel like these and the total points records need to be equalised for the total amount of gp's a season at the time a driver was driving for them to make sense. Like what would Patrese's be if the amount of races per year was the same as the current drivers on the list

Such a moving, vital piece from @Athersmike but it shouldn’t be on the sports pages. More people should read it. Graham Thorpe was so afflicted by depression he took his own life. As his widow says: ‘There is nothing to hide, it is not a stigma.’ https://t.co/hIWdZ3bcfe
