@connor_pain@ekoreen I didn't understand that call. Pascal clearly initiated contact so that was the correct call. I. Wonder if Nurse was doing a "give my star a review cause they asked for one" dance.
@Gingitv I'm a simple North American (and therefore an obligatory Liquid fan) but my god, echo has just been so excellent and so fun to watch in RWF, MDI and now TGP. Looking forward to some world keys today! GL champ!
@deeokelly1@dgurdasani1 @EliseVelaz9 Something like 65% of the world has contracted Covid. Seems inevitable. But I'm relatively diligent in my life and have been fortunate so far. Sorry for your pain!
@gardengirl778@dgurdasani1 @EliseVelaz9 This is fascinating if true. I mean the virus is behaving in a super novel way if subsequent infection is worse. That's just totally counter to the way our immune systems normally work. I'm a bit skeptical that, even if this trend is true now, it would hold indefinitely.
@domosauce @EliseVelaz9 @dgurdasani1 This is good! Might is an important word here, but yeh I've been doing some research since this was commented on by the precious individuals. It's significantly more common than I imagined. I'm sure we will be studying the impacts for years to come.
@Badabing000@dgurdasani1 @EliseVelaz9 If this is true then we are fucked because we will likely not produce sterilizing vaccines for many years, if at all. And asking people to mask and isolate forever, is a non-starter for a virus with such a low cfr.
@Badabing000@dgurdasani1 @EliseVelaz9 That's true, but that isn't the binary. The binary is locking down versus the risk of long Covid. The certainty of losing something versus the possibility of losing something greater. This is difficult calculus. But I take your point well, and I'm sorry you are suffering!
