To the strong one:
May you discover the gift of rest, laughter, ease, and saying no.
May you come to know yourself outside of your labor, effort, and productivity.
May you take your time and take it easy.
May you live.
Sooner or later, people will let you down; no matter how good they are. This is human nature; we all make mistakes and poor decisions from time to time. Remember, you came into this world alone and you depart from it alone. So depend on no one but yourself & the One who made you!
The choices you make are yours. You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone. But a lot of us feel this need to explain ourselves. Perhaps we want to be liked by everyone. Or to fit in with them. Whatever it is, stick to your decisions. If you think you’re wrong, correct them!
What goes around comes around & sometimes the lesson is much harder than what you had expected. You reap what you sow tells you that whatever you do in life surely gets counted. Yes they do. So remember this; no matter how much life gets unfair sometimes, it cannot be unjust.
Almighty. More than six months on and the pandemic is still with us. Many are prone to fear, anxiety and even despair. We pray for healing for those who are ill. Protect those who are most at risk. Give comfort to those who’ve lost loved ones. We place our total trust in You.
Don’t let sadness consume you. What's this life but a mixture of sad & happy moments. Nothing lasts. That’s how it is. No matter what the Almighty places in your path, keep putting one foot in front of the other, even when it hurts. Trust that He only wants what’s good for you!
