DN’s has to be the fundamental part of the NHS’s future, but they are on a hamster wheel, with little room for development and are burnt out.

Every 5 years I dread having my colonoscopy to monitor my Crohns. Today was no different but my first experience of MMUH on the other side as a patient and the staff were all so lovely on the Endoscopy unit. 🫶🏻
A lot of football over the weekend….nice meal on Friday…see Villa safely through to the next round of the FA Cup and off to Budapest for a few days break tomorrow. Not a bad way to start your annual leave 🫶🏻🇭🇺

Sandwell & City is all I’ve ever known, as a patient first, a visitor for family, a student nurse and as a member of staff. Some fond (and some not so fond) memories. Excited to see MMUH soon. 🏥
Staff and patients gathered today to mark 30 years of Rowley Regis Hospital.
