We're supporting Counter Terrorism Policing 's 'Run Hide Tell' campaign:
❗RUN if it is safe to do so
❗HIDE if you can't run
❗TELL us on 999 if it is safe to do so
Outdoor fires can lead to a wildfire. Some are started deliberately. If you have information about deliberate fires, report it anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. It’s a criminal offence and impacts your fire service, your community and your environment #WildfireAware
We are aware of the issues affecting the Three mobile network, with some customers reporting that they can’t make 999 calls. If you have problems reaching 999, please try to use a landline or another mobile with a different service provider.
Always good to catch up with the @NARSBASICS crew and this time not working on the red team but back in green with @SJANorfolk for the night. All of us working to keep the Norwich community safe while enjoying the nightlife of the city. Merry Christmas Norwich 🎄
We carried out a training exercise at @Nrw_Cathedral last night to test fire fighting and salvage procedures at the historic site.
It's really important that we hold training like this with partners to test plans and make sure we are skilled and prepared.

We are currently dealing with a straw stack fire at Redenhall. We were called at 2.45pm. Crews from Harleston, Diss & Carrow have been in attendance, along with other resources.
The fire is under control but will be burning throughout the night. We will remain on scene all night.
#BeWaterAware in warm weather:🏞️ Enter water slowly to reduce risks of injury from underwater hazards 🏞️ If swimming alone, tell someone where you'll be & for how long 🏞️Enjoying an activity like paddleboarding? Wear a floatation aid to help stay safe. Every precaution matters!
In warmer weather, help reduce wildfire risks when you're outdoors. If you smoke, stub cigarettes out properly, & not on dry ground. Don't throw a cigarette from a vehicle - it might land on dry ground by the roadside. Always call 999 if you see a fire., and be summer safe ☀️
