The leadership mostly the administration of the might hill has now showed us that one candidate they https://t.co/wLtf1KdctR I think we shall be wasting to vote coz the administration determines who to lead.
This whole situation honestly just shows confusion and poor leadership from the @Makerere administration, especially the seemingly already biased Dean of Students.
How do you allow one candidate like Hannah to hold a big concert without any issue, then suddenly remember the rules when Kadondi tries to do the same thing? That’s not fairness banange🥹😭😭💔💔…pure double standards. It makes it look like rules are only applied when it suits certain people.
Even worse, if Kadondi had already booked the venue and even got clearance from Kikoni police, then blocking her later while entertaining claims from her opponent mbu sijui she talked to the IGP just shows disorganization and bias. Instead of solving the issue properly, the Dean just cancels everything and sends out a general warning. That’s not leadership Winfred..no no no, that’s avoiding responsibility Wc is so worrying💔😭😭
If the regulations clearly say campaigns should be virtual, why weren’t they enforced from the start? Why wait until there’s conflict? It feels like the administration only acts when things get messy, instead of preventing the mess in the first place.
Honestly, this kind of handling undermines trust in the whole electoral process. Students expect fairness, consistency, and transparency…but what we’re seeing is the opposite.
At this point, Winfred should take responsibility for the confusion and step aside. When leadership fails to be fair and consistent, it loses the moral authority to guide students at all.
