More than £8️⃣8️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ has been allocated for additional police patrols in a specific part of #Harlow town centre (The Gates) where anti-social behaviour is currently a problem.

Read my full statement responding to the announcement that further police support has been agreed:

“The launch of the anti-social behaviour hotspot response project is an opportunity to target those who think it is acceptable to cause harassment, alarm and distress in communities across the county.

“It is a welcome step forward that the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has chosen Harlow to be part of this county-wide project to stamp out anti-social behaviour. The council is committed to supporting all efforts to ensure Harlow remains a safe place to live, work and visit.

“Announcing such an important project during national anti-social behaviour awareness week sends a clear signal to perpetrators that they will face the full consequences of their actions.”

Harlow Bonfire and Fireworks Night 🎆

Sunday 3 November at the Showground in Harlow Town Park.

Food and refreshments will be available on site. Harlow Steel Band will be playing at the Showground entrance from 5.30pm to 6pm to welcome the crowds.
