@CraicAddict89 I’m a search and rescue member(not cork) and people have often stopped cars and got out to record rescues/recoveries. I’ve had to ask people to move their kids away while they stood filming us. Remember reach-throw-row-helio-go for water rescue
@higgyboson Best response possible. They would have been on your back watching everything for the duration of the works and there would have been issues trying to get money out of them.
@MarioNawfal Ahm…. This has been known for years. It’s a barrotrauma. Can happen with a ventilator or a bag valve mask during a resus. Infact, it can be quite common in any ventilated patients.
@heli_med_james@HARTSWASFT 2/2 there is specialist equipment for rescue from high medium voltage, including reach poles, arc flash protective clothing jacket/over trousers and hood. I recently took up position working in industry. It’s an eye opener the amount of equipment that can be needed!
@heli_med_james@HARTSWASFT The main priorities are the LOTO system. Some fire brigades can earth a service and make it safe. As a general rule, 110kv and below doesn’t have a breaker, where as 220kv does. There is yellow placards around the pylon etc to show what the service is rated for. 1/2
