In picture collages by Milo Rau, it tells of a catastrophe caused by a Swiss multinational in the mining district of Congo in 2019. Witnesses and victims appear, survivors are interviewed. The singers are involved in the research, the orchestra immerses itself in rites of the pre-colonial past. A many-layered discursive music that hits you in the guts, roaring, lamenting, dreaming.
