@KemiBadenoch You served in a Tory Cabinet that decimated our armed forces. And you have the audacity to attack Keir Starmer who is working hard to restore our military. You are brazen and shameless and in complete denial of the deep damage your party inflicted.
This is good to see, a Labour MP calling out the truly dreadful @Peston@itvnews it really is about time you binned him off. You have little credibility as a news organisation until you do.
@GordonFielden I like Andy Burnham and think he’d make a decent leader. But I think Keir Starmer is doing a good job in difficult circumstances, made Labour electable and has shown great resilience. I want Labour to retain the seat but I don’t want a leadership challenge now.
Revealing that on @bbclaurak this morning none of the panel - Carns, Kidron and Madeley - could answer how they would find the extra money needed for Defence.
It's very easy to criticise government but much more difficult to govern
@ObserverUK@CeriThomas01 Andy Burnham is in this for himself.
A man who lost 2 previous leadership elections.
A man who is prepared to risk Reform getting the mayorship of Greater Manchester.
#NeverBurnham
He's not the fucking Messiah.
This is a significant meeting yet I can see no reference to it on the BBC News App.
If it was a Tory PM it would be prominently featured. KS has faced this deliberate suppression since day one. And we all know why Nandy has done nothing to address media hostility.
@andy4makerfield@AndyBurnhamGM Do you have any idea how I and many Labour members feel? To see an opportunist like you, campaigning in a seat that was held by a Labour MP so that you can oust our very competent PM.Using Labour Party funds and countless Labour MPs prancing around, no Labour posters in sight.
@politixintheuk If I were Starmer I would refuse to see him. He can get in line with all the other back benchers or he can do his worst. Tell him to FRO.
Carns is asked where the extra £ for defence should come from.
".. I think there are places, such as moving welfare from hand outs to hand ups"
Describing welfare as hand outs tells us all about Carns politics & who he wants to target - the sick, disabled, low paid, pensioners
