Passionate about Science education; Physics, supporting teachers. Curious about language use and misuse from novice to expert as related to conceptual structure
@CMooreAnderson I’d stick with new; from what I’ve seen of your previous work it is new and it stands out more. Views suggests emergent, holistic direction seems ambiguous, organismal probably fits after you know the content. Good luck!
Why are paramedics on strike?
📉Real pay down £6,000 since 2010
🏥Hours-long delays at hospital due to lack of beds
😞 53% struggling to cope with demands of their jobs
🚑A third witnessed cases where a patient's death was linked to a delay
RT if you're with them 👊
@CMooreAnderson Wouldn’t worry; our eldest was same in just English language home. Consultant said it was all in there and would come out when ready. First phrase - in supermarket - was ‘how much is that mummy?’
@Joshyshorty@Physiassist ‘Advanced Physics’ Adams & Allday, gives different perspective from course texts for A Level (which the school you’re in should have and normally provide). GCSE and KS3 text quality varies. Again use schools.
@Joshyshorty Practice demos and practicals well in advance (‘I get paid to play with equipment!’), sleep supports patience, name worksheets for absent students, you’ll get last minute planning crises - ask. Enjoy it - important for you and your students.

@JammyPhysics@ChatPhysics@IOPTeaching Nice stimulus/ wow, Cadbury segment on Petri dish recently put over beaker of hot water. Describe appearance, give cocktail stick to probe. Looks solid along with name on top but is liquid inside.
@M_F_Rose You are beyond the hardest part; 2 to 3 is easier than 0-1 or 1-2 (routines, experience etc). ‘Outnumbered’ - nonsense, family is not a democracy!
