@peterrhague Are you looking for us to give you a solution to this, or are you just looking to vent on Twitter about it? Because it really seems like you’ve rejected a lot of the solutions and got a lot from the people who sympathised with your position.
@tradingaswdr I've been reading your site via your RSS feed for the last few years and thought you'd gone a bit quiet over the last two weeks - but actually, you're as observant as ever, but it looks like your Feedburner feed isn't updating anymore, so I've been missing out

This book won the Nebula Award, the Hugo Award, the John W Campbell Memorial Award, the BSFA Award, the Jupiter Award, and the Locus Award for best novel. Martin Amis called it "triumphant". The Guardian called it "a stone-cold classic".
@PeterMatza@SacktheJudge@crimlawuk So, it seems we disagree about that. But this all started from the point that the public care about the NHS more than the Elgin Marbles, which it sounds like we agree about. And also someone made an misleading post about how much tax goes on the NHS - which we also agree about 👍
@PeterMatza@SacktheJudge@crimlawuk Well perhaps we can agree then that there are opportunities to improve the service and those should be pursued I expect they will incur a cost. My philosophy is one that the King’s Fund sums up nicely:
@PeterMatza@SacktheJudge@crimlawuk That report seems to suggest the UK needs to increase its funding to combat inflation. If that’s your point, then it seems we agree on that too.
@SacktheJudge@PeterMatza@crimlawuk Let’s not keep going over the same ground. We covered this off yesterday. The NHS is funded from total tax income not just from income tax. Here’s a chart for you. I think the government make one as well on your tax account website
@PeterMatza@SacktheJudge@crimlawuk You’ll have to forgive me though I’m not following your points about Australia at all. This started from the OP pointing out that the public cares more about the NHS than the Elgin Marbles. No one other than you has mentioned Australia.
