@DBW77@RupertLowe10 I’m sure they should, but no doctor is required to speak Welsh, no matter where they work, nor can the lack of ability to speak Welsh influence hiring. The same is true for nurses of course. The regulators are clear that the professional language in the UK is English.

@williambraden@jack_turban Ah yes. Medical research, the sort of field where we allow “administrative lapse”. Informed consent for a patient at all stages of a medical or research procedure isn’t negotiable or paper-pushing. Any clinician should have that idea
