@jeremycorbyn An ideology view of the world tinted in all things fluffy is deluded and quite out of kilter with the realities of the world we live in today. Luckily you’re a minority view with no power.
Activist: "Your cows are putting carbon into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "Where did they get it?"
Activist: "What?"
Farmer: "The carbon. Where did the cow get it before it put it anywhere."
Activist: "From... eating?"
Farmer: "From eating grass. And where did the grass get it."
Activist: "The soil?"
Farmer: "The air. The grass pulled it out of the air last spring. The cow ate the grass. The cow breathed some of it back out. It went back into the air it came from."
Activist: "But it's still going into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "It's going back. There's a difference between a thing going somewhere and a thing going back. You've described a circle and you're frightened of it."
Activist: "Then just don't have the cow."
Farmer: "The grass still dies in autumn. It rots where it falls. The carbon goes back into the air either way, just without anyone getting fed in the middle."
Activist: "It's not that simple."
Farmer: "It's grass, cow, breath, grass. Or it's grass, rot, air, grass. Same circle, fewer dinners. If that's complicated for you I'd stay away from the water cycle. That one's got clouds in it."
@SW_Help can you explain to me why your online app was selling tickets for trains which were known to be cancelled? I now need to reclaim which one s 15 minutes of work I’d rather not do and is entirely unnecessary:
Time for a solution ?
Switching UK petrol from E10 to E15 would use about 1.8 million tonnes of UK wheat, already sat in UK stores right now.
That’s around 660 million litres of ethanol, roughly equal to 2.7 million barrels of oil. Farmers could deliver this in months, not years, no strait of Hormuz to navigate.
Energy policy is overlooking a ready-made domestic solution.
And the best bit? This is a fully sustainable solution that would boost GDP and give a desperately needed immediate shot in the arm for British farmers 👍#EnergySecurity #Farming #Biofuels #UK #GDP #BritishFarming

@SW_Help You know when a specific ticket and its service is cancellled so you should repay this automatically. I had to buy another ticket from GWR so you need to refund my ticket within 24hrs.
@SW_Help can you help with refunding my ticket from last Thursday where you cancelled the train and one after it. I tried delay repay as it wasn’t obvious to claim for cancelled trains.
Your app is poor at best. When you cancel a train the refund should be automatically generated but it isn’t and there is no clear direction where to go
@googlemaps can you amend Yeatman and Sons so the business is pinned to its actual post code and not where this map says as it is incorrect and our farm is in this location.
@googlemaps Look at the Yeatman and Sons LtD postcode, it’s nowhere near that location. Their supposed location is adjacent our farm so is misleading. All I want is for you to move the mark to where the postcode says the farm is.
