@LycanrocFanBoi@Shiroyasha0001@YGOMasterDuel yeah I agree as well. In generale 1for1 trade hts are fine (using a slot for playing a 1for1 ht is very balanced by itself, and surely it is wRt playing more engine or broken traps). However, lingering ht should be for going2nd only. Charmies are fine imo, droll/maxx c are not
@ImHumbucker@YGOMasterDuel Surely the problem of the game is hand traps. Going2nd hts aren't almost even strong enough. Going1st playing hts means giving up slots that could be engine and engine is much much worse than hts going1st. Hts aren't the problem. The problem are engines and cbtg, talent, etc.
@LycanrocFanBoi@Shiroyasha0001@YGOMasterDuel It goes both ways in the sense both players can play it, but it goes in only one way in the sense it favours who wins the flip coin. It essentially favours that. It essentially makes the game dead by making it more similar to a flip coin gamble
@GabrielSoussi@TrifGaming This is true and honestly I pointed it out myself elsewhere. One needs to do things accurately in order to be right. However, I don't feel like the purpose of Josh criticism is wrong. It seems like the game it's just going to get worse and worse in the near future at least
@ponyaccounz@Gamebreak0r and then they messed up the game again. We need a change in behaviour, not just a single positive note that would be overwhelmed later by new mud. It's just coping otherwise and not fixing the real issue that is the global trend
@Gamebreak0r is the going2nd win related to non-games? I mean, there surely also have been some games resulting in the going1st player winning. It doesn't mean the win hasn't been contended in such cases as well
@lacretula@MetaGamesGX What I don't like is that it's another card more powerful going1st, rather than going2nd. Going1st dodge + replacing itself immediately (had it been a turn later would have been fine) is particularly unhealthy imo
@Fredo3000162409@MetaGamesGX Some of them also have some very bad takes. Like F&V being grind. It replaces itselft the same turn. Had it been the next turn it'd be fine. The way it is it isn't great going2nd, but going1st it is a free action/dodge+interruption. Free dodge going1st particularly unhealthy imo
@Raijinti@MetaGamesGX The thing I don't like about this card is that because of all these things it's just another one that's better going1st more than 2nd. Also it's not even that "grindy": its power comes from the fact it replaces itself back 2 back immediately. Had it been the next SP it'd be fine
@SkagthePrince@ThisJitCracks@YGOPRODeck Also, some of list they brought as an argument are clearly thematic and revolving around a single specific strategy lol they are so inconsequential
@MBTYuGiOh I call BE midrange cause in an HT war it plays well the resource game, but when playing uninterrupted against an engine deck it looks like a combo deck (very strong end board). It kinda adapts to the opponent's deck. Control's just resilience/lower ceiling. Combo's just pushes
#YuGiOh , hear me out. Combo slops are everywhere. The culprit: ritual decks, namely Mitsurugi and RoLaD, 'cause no extra deck space required and conversely need for broken desing for being playable. Let's fix the game: ritual monsters need to be extra deck cards, like in manga
@ThroneOfTheHawk@WorstGenHQ Oda clearly showed more than one times now that the old gen is on another level. Look at Garp and Gaban. They are clearly stronger than Rufy at the moment and far from their prime. Imagine Roger. It must have been insane
@NathanQ1232@SerebiiNet If it were a good game frame rate wouldn't be an issue. By a critics/"objective" pov at least it's a terrible game. Aside from that how much one can like it is subjective ofc. But the fact it compares extremely poorly (in every way) to almost any modern game cannot be denied
@pejelizard@Frosk01 -ing said, indeed I've always thought that priority tailwind is another too strong thing, 'cause essentially cannot be stopped or countered unless with an equivalent broken thing. Also, ofc something doesn't need to be meta to be regarded as unfair. Farigiraf is unfair imo, just-
