AGREEMENT - Ministers accepted the compromise proposal on fishing opps for 2021 prepared by @EU2020DE. Main elements of the compromise include: provisional catch limits for the stocks shared with the UK with a 3 month roll-over, using the 25% of the total EU quota 1/2
Council agreed to most of the initial Commission proposals. Ministers also agreed to reduce demersal fishing efforts in western Mediterranean by 7.5%
