Oh yeah. #Gardengate is now complete and binge-ready ♥
"An epic in both senses of the term, it manages to both delicately navigate the complexities of every form of love, and unapologetically dropkick perfect plot twists at warp speed" —regencypoet

@Timebird84 I think it’s especially obvious on tumblr where people make dedicated blogs like shrines to a specific fandom or aspect of it, rather than a fluid continuum. The tides of fandom are tumultuous and complicated!
That's a beautiful metaphor and it conjured very vivid imagery (in the form of the Storm mausoleum from BG3) I can so see Ketheric's @-selune-pal4ever tumblr blog's last messages like "I feel my obsession fade away" and "I think imma start a new blog. U guys like Shar?"
If you're late to a fandom and stumble across an abandoned account from its high phase it is like finding a time capsule.
If you start scrolling you are opening it up.
The first thing you see might be a farewell message, something like "I feel my obsession slowly fade and this
@gavinfckr Hell yessss
Tbh seeing that post got me back to Make It Yours. Finished 2 chapters and immediately posted them xD (one was almost entirely written already)
@gavinfckr Or Connor at Kamski’s 🤔
(Or both. All the vibes. Kamski can start a collection of beautiful men with moles, dark hair and big brown eyes, anytime)
@gavinfckr I find that oftentimes it's really about "just doing it". Starting is the hard part, but once we overcome that we can find ourselves reading 50k in record times thanks to tunnel vision xD just gotta prepare coffee to last through the trip!
@gavinfckr I am so proud of you for finding true motivation fuel. This is the way to go. This is the way to think. Get that license and all the ~joys~ that ~come~ with it 😏😏😏
@gavinfckr There are a lot of really good fics to catch up on out there! It can be daunting esp with some high word counts, although tbh some read real fast! I favor smol chapters you can snack on them when you have a few minutes to spare, makes reading easier imo
@gavinfckr I read a study yesterday, and found out that ND people often have an hyperactivation of the sympathetic nerve system (fight n flight mode) and hypoactivation of the parasympathetic NS (rest n digest) which can explain the prevalence of anxious disorders among us!
@gavinfckr If the anxiety is really bad it might be worth taking up to a doctor, see if meds could help with that, at least just to ease into a calm that allows you to relax and learn.
