I started investing in real estate at a young age and thought I knew it all. I was wrong, and I've learned over two decades that an established network of expert providers is essential to make it in this business. A thread of the contacts every property investor should have: 👇
@Toboldlygo555 Agreed - I think they only do Monday night though? Kevin is so good at his craft. I think football on the radio may be his best and ironically probably least known gig.
Been in the car a lot lately, and I’m starting to feel like listening to an NFL game on the radio with a good play-by-play announcer might be better than watching it on television.
@tedaust Agreed - Kiawah is always wonderful, and there’s no bad time at the beach in general, but the summers are super crowded and hot. Fall is multiples better IMO.
It’s not for everyone, but I’ll take cool, overcast and breezy, sitting in a chair and reading on an empty beach over warm, sunny and crowded every time.
Random real estate niche rant but selling a golf course is tough. Tons of activity - everyone wants to own a golf course… until they realize it requires RUNNING a golf course.
@WesleyP91308 I have a friend who owns two golf courses. Both the clubs I belong to (one of which is a top 150 course) are owned by individuals. It’s wild!
Just called a broker to see if a listing was still available. He said “No, it’s under contract” and stopped talking. I said thanks and hung up.
No “Tell me what you’re looking for” or “Let me show you what comparable deals we have.” No effort to get a deal going at all. Sad.
