@pearlythingz Sadly, the Republicans are the only ones who will reform this and they wasted their chance and blew up their spot.
It is possible to reform the courts to be more fair on this though.
I'm always amused by this line in the movie, as the sword is clearly an unbalanced, dull and chipped piece of crap.
Just trying to keep the lad's hopes up like a good king.
They are soulless conspirators. Family law is just interstate money laundering by the judiciary. They have formed an organized racket and take title iv-d money from the Feds when a father’s wages are siphoned to his wife. It’s criminal and coram non judice.
Attorneys in the system realize it doesn’t work correctly, but also realize that if they send even really shitty motions to the judge they’ll help a woman extract more from her husband because the federal match that the judge gets is bigger.
So the judge isn’t a nuetral party. They invent and try the case for the wife, the family law wife’s attorney is criminal accomplice and doesn’t know shit avout law, and the dad loses his kids, property, income, family, freedom to the most horrific legal circumstances.
It’s treason and sedition and then they’ll claim immunity.
People largely haven’t figured any of this out, so for now the woman attorney justifies her actions as doing what’s best for her female client. If this ever fixes itself then she’ll be terrified because she’s committed dozens of felonies per client per year through her conspiracy with a cartel court.
Umberto Eco, who owned 50,000 books, had this to say about home libraries:
“It is foolish to think that you have to read all the books you buy, as it is foolish to criticize those who buy more books than they will ever be able to read. It would be like saying that you should use all the cutlery or glasses or screwdrivers or drill bits you bought before buying new ones.
“There are things in life that we need to always have plenty of supplies, even if we will only use a small portion.
“If, for example, we consider books as medicine, we understand that it is good to have many at home rather than a few: when you want to feel better, then you go to the ‘medicine closet’ and choose a book. Not a random one, but the right book for that moment. That’s why you should always have a nutrition choice!
“Those who buy only one book, read only that one and then get rid of it. They simply apply the consumer mentality to books, that is, they consider them a consumer product, a good. Those who love books know that a book is anything but a commodity.”
"Learn to read history, get all the knowledge you can, do not frown on the anecdote, but do not draw any causal links, do not try to reverse engineer too much -- but if you do, do not make big scientific claims." - Nassim Nicholas Taleb in The Black Swan
