CONTROL RESONANT REVIEW (Honest and Brutal)

🟥1 of the most atrocious level designs of any game ever, it gives Schizophrenia. The game should be an example of "What kind of level designs can be made" as presentation, not a full game based on it. Extremely annoying and this game YES it needs and would be ideal for it to have Jean fart gas type of guide line like in Marvels Wolverine.

🟥Terrible protagonist, uninteresting, ugly, and bad voice match. Bad customization too.

🟥Horriblly vague puzzles, makes it impossible to get a hint from the "hints" who tf designed these puzzles?

🟥Bad / complicated story for newcomers. uninteresting cutscenes. I cannot fathom how anyone can enjoy these designs, the weird colors and effects, the annoying disturbances, the maze like level designs with inception theme and anti gravity features, it feels like supernova of ideas that went wrong.

🟥Oh and I hate the minions, I played ther game on 1 hit 1 kill mode and only turned it off for bosses, theres few things more annoying in games that endless minions to fight vs like in Marvels wolverine and avengers game.

🟩The good:
Gameplay, lots of skills, attacks, weapons, abilities etc, it's not that repetitive because of the amount of skills available.

🟩Accessibility features:
Can basically set one hit to kill assists, parry window assists etc, some of the best gameplay assists for combat of any game. Shame they didn't add more assists for navigating the annoying environment / levels.

🟩tonnes of stuff designed for the world, restaurants, building, probably hundreds of little objects etc, clearly a lot of work has been put to create the environment and planning into the level designs, but having skill to do something should have been put to better use than to create world that feels like you have extreme schizophrenia....

6/10 Mediocre at best.

the developers have amazing skill, they should focus on creating something normal with that skill rather than creating a game that feels you're crazy. Normal fun based games arent bad, there's no need to overcomplicate things and create something "unique" and annoying to stand out.
