A successful launch of Orbitae has given the team a lot of insight and information about how we can improve the vehicle.
More about the flight on our discord.
Work here at the Simplex Space Port will be halted as we are expecting another category five typhoon to hit the site.
Personnel are being moved away from the launch site with buildings being secured.
We will resume our operations when deemed safe and possible.
Now under thirty minutes from our launch time. Currently the vehicle is already fueling and should be finished a few minutes before launch. Additionally, range is GO with no issues.
Live coverage will begin 6 minutes before our target launch time.
One day before the first flight of Orbitae. This is a milestone that our teams have been working towards for months and months on end.
It took every single employee of Simplex Space working together perfectly to reach this point.
With that, we have less than 24 hours to go.
Simplex Space plans to launch Orbitae on July 1st, 2026 at 8 A.M. CHST.
The launch is intended as a test flight for the vehicle, carrying a mass demonstrator as a payload.

We will most likely be moving the first stage back to the hangar for final preparations before launch.
Meanwhile the second stage will have its final tests before being merged with the first stage.
And once ready, the third stage will be merged with the stack ahead of launch.
