All these new AI coding tools keep dropping, but Cursor still feels like the only one built for developers actually pushing to production.

Antigravity is cool, but Cursor is what actually ships products.

They plan our time (because devs have zero concept of time), filter down the requirements to what actually matters, and handle the cross department requests.
They do the talking so we can just code

@mayuri_3015 Cursor is probably the best direct alternative.

But a properly customized VS Code + GitHub Student Pack is still god-tier.

Hard to beat...

The goal isn't forcing him to code, but giving him space to discover digital art, editing, and games.

A cellphone just gives him access to calls and endless social media brainrot.
