Congratulations Danny ❤

I just asked the love of my life to marry me. She said yes.

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

Wasn't that brilliant. I watched it growing up and didn't realise how lucky we were to have it at all.

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

This is great news @sdreynard

Sometimes the business ower is paying 40% tax and a limited company is a perfect solution. Also, if the future plans are to grow the business then starting off with a Ltd co can be the right choice

[Virtual Focus Accountants @VirtualFocusAc1]

@cheapaccounting Not always that straightforward though. There may be a reason behind that choice. Eg the nature of the business might mean if things go wrong the owner could be liable to losses. The Ltd Co will protect personal assets in that case. We always weigh up the pros and cons of both.

Next issue is a jump to £59 instead of £35 per month for the whole contract period as agreed (and re-emphasised on sign up). Catching people out with small print extras added on is not ethical. Big letters - £35 monthly price. Tiny writing underneath with £59 from 11th Sept.👎

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

I have also discovered that my BT line has not been transfered over as agreed. It will cost me to reconnect when I move from Virgin Media.

@Simply_Add Good morning Lorraine. What are you contacting us about please? ^John

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

Thanks. I have a letter to apologise for the 8 week delay in looking into my query. I was surprised to receive a letter when I have email, but happy to receive something. I've stopped payment as I think that may speed up an answer.

@Simply_Add Hello Lorraine, I'm sorry to hear there has been some concern with your bill. If you could please contact our customer care team on 150 / 0345 454 1111 we will then be able to get everything sorted out for you ^DC

one of the extra last minute ingredients was cointreau 😁

[Mike Lever @ThisIsMikeLever]

@Simply_Add @M_Lever Where's your wine/gin/tequila? Beginning to suspect your account has been hacked! 😀🍻

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

@M_Lever Can you tell I'm excited 😁

@QBCares Thanks so much for the excellent support! Jacob has been doing co-branded webinars. Clients are finding this very useful. We did one on the app for receipt snap, and another on customer invoicing. 👍

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

@virginmedia I have received a letter by post to ask for details of my issues, thank you. I will do a formal response and send by email.

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

The migration from post off broadband was not done correctly. PO were not informed of the cancellation and want paying. Its not my error.

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

More disappointment. @virginmedia 2nd DD was meant to be £35 but notification said £59. I was assured during the buying process that £35 monthly amount would not be increased during the 18 month contract. Catching people out with small print is not an ethical selling method.

@Simply_Add Good morning Lorraine. What are you contacting us about please? ^John

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

@virginmedia Do you have a number I can call to discuss my issue? I have submitted by email twice and had a reply to say I will get a response but had nothing for 4 weeks.

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

The process is all wrong.
Why don't you allow 7 days to submit and explain the criteria that will be used to select who gets the money.
I know of at least 15 clients who have wasted their morning trying to access the site. It happened on the last round but this time its worse.

[Swayed Greyhound @SwayedGreyhound]

@GrowthHubNE It's not unprecedented, it happend last time. I'm sure we all appreciate the opportunity to access funding but, as it stands, this has taken up valuable time we can't really spare

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

4 of my clients are struggling to get on too. They desperately need some support.

[creativedancecentre @creativedancec4]

@BusINGateshead @GrowthHubNE Could you inform if the north east growth hub website is down as I’m struggling to gain access to input my SME expression of interest. Any help advice would be great please?

[Lorraine Ellison @Simply_Add]

Is there not a better way to handle the application process,? if money is given out on 1st come 1st served basis, then the only choice is to get on as soon as it opens.
Could people pre-book an time slot? (Similar to how HMRC did the initial SEISS claims)

[Growth Hub NE @GrowthHubNE]

We are experiencing unprecedented demand for our website currently and some users may be unable to access the site. Please bear with us as we work to rectify the situation. We will update our social media as soon as the site is back up.

Dear Santander. Can you have another look at enabling cheques to be banked via the mobile app. Starling have just released theirs. Don't be a dinosaur. Please adapt to the virtual world. I have 2 more cheques to bank but feel it is unnecessary to physically go out of the house.

[Santander UK Help @santanderukhelp]

@Simply_Add Thanks for the feedback Lorraine. If you'd like to have the option of making cheque deposits at your local Post Office in future, we'd be happy to order deposit slips and envelopes for you on 0800 9 123 123. Have a good day! ^KC

Good luck in your new role Rob. I still talk about the rhubarb & custard creations. You are very talented.

[Robert Stewart @cooknortheast]

Weird way to end a job but as of tomorrow I’m officially leaving @sunderlandcol after 10 cracking years to take on a new exciting role @NorthlandColl (although in reality, I feel like I’ve already been there a year already!) It’s going to be a blast! #StaySafe #NewJob #DeepEnd
