The management of a Westville-based security company, Mobi-Claw911, was attending a meeting at the Westville Sports Club yesterday, following the theft of a car.

During that meeting, thieves tried to steal a vehicle - belonging to the security company’s operations director - from the parking lot.

He caught them in the act but they escaped in their own car.

This is the dashcam footage of the chase that followed, which led to their arrests.

Shortly after, another vehicle was stolen from the same parking lot - a Toyota Fortuner.

That’s the one I reported on here last night.

Well, we all now know how that ended.

Not a good day for car thieves, it seems.
