Such a powerful, powerful, word. Jesus is the way. The Truth. And the light. Such a blessing! Jesus is great all the time. All the time Jesus is great! #scripture#Jesus#bible
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott said he’s seen a different version of the defense this week in practice after the players-only meeting on Monday:
“Absolutely, just in the way they’ve approached it. Bringing in a new coach [Mike Pettine], adding his scheme to what they’re already doing.”

Cowboys DT Quinnen Williams was the one who called the players-only meeting on Monday. He chose to keep the message from that meeting to himself, but he did take accountability for the defense’s start:
“I take full personally responsibility for it. I look in the mirror at myself and know that I need to do better, play better. I take full accountability and I’m fully responsible for where this defense is going at the moment. I took a break this weekend and reset to learn and grow and focus on getting better.”
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb on getting the free weekend to recover:
“Most importantly, we were able to rest our bodies. Three games in 11 days, that’s not really ideal for the NFL. But at the end of the day, that’s what the NFL asks and everybody in the NFL has to go through that. I know that every year, we’ll go through it at least once. This year, we have it twice. Preparing ourselves, at the end of the day, we have to go through it. We could complain all day, but we have to go through it.”
@YoungChuy23 Honestly it’s no different that having a 10-7 or 7-10 team make the playoffs in the NFL. Or a 42-40 or 40-42 or 41-41 team make it in the NBA.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO EZEKIEL ELLIOTT…?
The former #Cowboys superstar was once arguably the BEST running back in football.
Zeke led the #NFL in rushing twice and had three 1,000+ yard seasons in his first four years.
2016: 1,631 yards, 15 TDs
2018: 1,434 yards, 6 TDs
2019: 1,357 yards, 12 TDs
2022: 876 yards, 12 TDs
2023: 642 yards, 3 TDs
2024: 226 yards, 3 TDs
Then completely fell off a cliff.
Breaking: #Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is out for Sunday due to a superficial blood clot.
Full statement from the #Eagles on QB Jalen Hurts:
“On Thursday, October 8th, Jalen visited the training room after practice requesting treatment for his calf. He informed the medical staff he had been cleated during the Rams game on October 4th. This was his first treatment session for the calf injury following the game, after having practiced in full both Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, Jalen received treatment, practiced in full, and was added to the practice report.
“Out of an abundance of caution, an ultrasound was performed on Saturday following the team’s flight to London and walkthrough. The ultrasound revealed a superficial blood clot. Our medical staff and doctors in London reviewed the results and concluded that activity and mobility were important and that Jalen could safely play. Doctors recommended a follow-up ultrasound within 72 hours of the game and the return flight to Philadelphia.
“Jalen played without limitation in the game Sunday, received treatment on Monday and Tuesday, and practiced in full on Wednesday, as reflected in the practice report. Throughout our time in London and this week, we have remained in communication with the league office regarding the matter.
"On Wednesday night, a follow-up ultrasound revealed movement in the small blood clot. Jalen will be out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers as we determine the appropriate course of treatment. His health and safety are our highest priority.”
