@TayFazo1K I want to be clear that I’m not saying all men who rape people, whether the victim is a man or woman, don’t have mental illnesses. Some do. But all don’t. Some men feel entitled to another person’s body simply because “they can”... and that is toxic.

@TayFazo1K We can agree to disagree. Because we are of opposing sexes and women are the ones being pursued, we have different experiences and opinions. We live in constant fear when we are pumping gas, going to Walmart, grocery shopping, and even being alone.

@TayFazo1K I would also like to add that there are men with mental illnesses who harass, rape, beat, and murder women because they are mentally insane. I would just not go as far as saying everyone that does is. Some men 100% feel entitled and hate the thought of being rejected.

@TayFazo1K But what if she said yes? What if she accepted his advances? Would he have killed her? I’m speaking in general in saying some men don’t have mental illnesses and believe it’s their God given right to go after women who have no choice in their decision to “be chose”. That’s toxic.

@TayFazo1K And I would also like to add that a lack of knowledge is not an excuse. If a woman does not give permission for the physical activity, the answer is no. Consent is not implied.

@TayFazo1K I think we saying that all men who are predators have a mental illness almost gives them an excuse. I do believe that some men are predators. They have no diagnoses illness, they just simply feel entitled to get whomever they want.

We applaud the University’s efforts to name buildings after our heroes on campus. Say hello to John England Jr. Hall, named after one of the first African Americans admitted to The University of Alabama School of Law. This dorm cements his legacy, his resume, and his dedication.
