@xPippawippa I know a group of people did exactly that at the glasgow show last year, well known fans too. I got crushed against the barricade when they were trying to get into it and my ribs were bruised for weeks 😭
@beangoosegirl Oh i know exactly who you're talking about, they get barricade every time, theres no need for them to get it again. They came up to his show in Glasgow (WHICH WAS THE ONLY ONE IN SCOTLAND) and skipped the whole queue to get barricade when they went to every single england show 😔
you accidentally sign up for quora when you're 12 and they'll send you emails when you're on your deathbed too. i fucking BLOCKED them, how am i still getting these??? i'm 20 years old please Let It Go
@PSouls2@vctgender This is what I mean about the hinge thing, I realised how I explained it mightve been a bit confusing cause yous dont have these windows. I dont know If I's have to put it further to the middle or not but either way I feel like so many birds would crash into it 😭
@PSouls2@vctgender Aye, from what I know Its not all councils that require it but I know most in my area do. Ive never found an adaptwr that works for my window bc I think I'd have to slide one half's hinge to the middle and leave the side open, if I could cover it, I'd probably get an AC 😭
@Watchmakermaker Considering there is 44 countries in europe with completely different climates and infrastructure, there is no one reason, these are all true for different countries in Europe. Theres currently wildfires in Scotland and there'll be inches of snow in Russia at the same time.
@krissakray Im quite a warm person so I hate the heat, my house is always at around 10°c (50F), thats what my boiler is always set at. Bear in mind it will probably be a couple degrees higher due to outside heat, but i always keep it set at 10c.
@CannibalVeggiez@vctgender I know that my council area requires a licence for all AC units, including window units, something to do with modification taxes I think. The window units wouldnt work for most UK windows anyway. Our rates also depend on providers as there's massive differences per company.
@CannibalVeggiez@vctgender And have you considered that we don't have home depot, and sellers here charge a lot more due to green tax, plus most councils require you to have an AC licence. They cost more to run here due to our electricity being more expensive, so overall, extortionate and not worth it.
@Volovidere@vctgender So neither of those pictures are how our windows open, they wouldnt work in our windows without significant modifications that are more hassle than they're worth. Our electricity is also 1.8-1.95× more expensive than the US so it would cost a lot more to run than it does for yous
@PSouls2@vctgender Our windows typically dont open like that, and englands electricity is 1.8× more expensive than the US, Scotland's is 1.95× more expensive, so it would cost way more to run, not to mention the AC licence that a lot of councils will require tou to have.
