Unrelated but I remember when I wanted to end my relationship 2 years ago and people kept telling me there’s nothing out there, that I should just stick with what I have. I almost did too. The fear of starting over and not meeting the right person almost made me stay.
But I knew what I wanted and that relationship wasn’t it.
2 years down the line, I’m still very much single and I don’t regret my decision. When you have a clear direction of who you want and what you want, it can look like it’s harder to meet someone, and honestly it is. But I still think it’s better than being with the wrong person just because you’re scared there’s nothing else out there.
Some people feel everything deeply and still offer you shallow love. They absolutely know how to treat you right, but they just choose not to. Disrespect is a conscious decision, never a mistake.
The older I get, the more I realize that people making time for you is one of the clearest signs they care. Everyone is busy, so when someone consistently makes time for you, it means something.
Begging someone to stay when they show they do not want you causes deep emotional pain. Real love feels safe and flows with ease. You do not need to force a person to choose you. When something is right for you, it happens naturally.
I pray I marry a man who actually wants to be married. A man who isn't out here embarrassing the family we created.. I pray I marry an honest, hardworking, loving man. I pray he has morals, goals, and boundaries.
Why y’all can’t just work things out? 😭😂 One person wanna be right, the other wanna be petty, and now both of y’all single watching each other’s stories like it’s a damn Netflix series. 💀
he was nice but i deserve someone who's crazy about me. there's a lot of "love out loud" that i missed out on as a child. i would love for my future life partner to give me that. love me out loud. speak of me with pride. best believe, i'll be doing that for you too.
if someone you deeply hurt still treat u with kindness and respect, you should realize u didn't just lose a person, you lost someone with genuinely good heart
