Well it's getting that time of year again when Chris Rea will be setting out and trying yet again to get home for Christmas,

Alarm set for 5am car almost loaded, chickpeas & corn sorted don't think I'll bother with meat until it warms up a tad,
roll on the morning and a good day bankside with a few fish caught,

Well with the temps expected to hit lows of -5c this week and possibility of snow think I'll give it a miiss,
As the following weeks and build up to Easter could see temperatures of 26c,
Me think me will give it a rest this week and bask in the ⛅⛅⛅ in a couple of weeks time.

Well that's the 1st trip out of the year sorted with my old mate snowy
We'll be fishing Woods farm fishery near as Solihull
We will try the drawbridge pool it is spring fed so hopefully the water level will be ok this time,
Last year when we went there the level was well down.

Well desperate measures are called for all this bad weather were having haven't been out fishing for over a month so all these high winds there forecasting I think I might take up kite flying or even wind surfing on the local canal or River just to get me out of the 🏠 house 🏠.

Just seen the weather forecast for this week to say it doesn't look good would be an understatement,
So another week without wetting a line looks in order,
So looking like a few jobs around the 🏠 will get done,
That will please the boss lady.

Well it was a great day out yesterday a few fish caught not as many as I'd of liked but never mind there's always next week,

9 weeks now since I was last out not like I'm keeping count and the way things are going it will probably be another 9 weeks before I'm out again
