BREAKING: Clemson portal LB commit Luke Ferreli has enrolled at Ole Miss. Ferreli, the 2025 ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year, signed with Clemson and enrolled in classes over a week ago. He has been attending classes, team meetings, and workouts over this period.

Ferreli, who was set to make 800k from Clemson, was originally offered 7 figures from Pete Golding personally on the final day of the portal. He laughed at this offer and reported the tampering to Clemson, sending them proof of the texts.

After being confronted personally by Clemson, Rebels HC Pete Golding doubled the offer to $2m+. Clemson still thought they were in good standing with Ferreli based on what he’d told them, until they could not get in touch with him.

Expect lawsuits from Clemson against Ferreli and Ole Miss to follow, along with athletic directors attempting to put an end to the craziness that these schools have to deal with now.

Dabo and new OC Chad Morris are reportedly dead set on sticking with in house talent at the QB position, as first reported by Larry Williams this morning.

Dabo has stated that it will be open season for competition but it seems as though Vizzina is his guy, for now at least.

“We just signed two to come compete. And we got Denson here to compete. And we got CV, who’s really only played one true game from a start standpoint and who’s here to compete. We only offered two quarterbacks in his class, him and Arch Manning. That was the only two we offered. And we beat a lot of people to get him. This kid has done his part, he’s been waiting his time. And now is his time.

“Now he’s got to win the job. Obviously he’s kind of where you start. But you got to win it. Same thing with Denson. I mean Denson didn’t come here to just stand on the sideline. He came here to compete. So let’s go compete.”

As for me, my biggest concern is position coaches.. and this will continue to be my biggest concern until we get good ones. We’re not going to get any good players out of the portal if they can’t be developed when they get here.

can be honest? this a B-/C+ hire grade. (I loved Clemson offense back in 2011-14) the real Clemson fans (the ones who actually understand football) want dabo hands completely off of the offensive playbook & want proven position coaches. I love Clemson but I’ve lost faith in dabo.
