@AC_assettocorsa A vr performance update would be nice for a change. At least give us the option to use the latest version of dlss in vr while you figure it out.
@ArcadeHalf@GAMERTAGVR@PlayStation@beamng PC2, AC, AMS2, LMU,Rfactor2, DR2, Iracing and raceroom are all titles that run decent on a mid tier pc. It's 2 bad that none of them are available on PSVR2. VR seems to be an afterthought for most new titles on PCand PSVR2 and that really pisses me off.
@ArcadeHalf@GAMERTAGVR@PlayStation@beamng I don't mean to be an asshole with this but Kazunori Yamauchi (President of Polyphony Digital) stated that support for PS VR2 was something they had in mind from the start with GT 7. Sims are just really hard to optimize in VR. AI is also a big CPU hog.
@ArcadeHalf@GAMERTAGVR@PlayStation@beamng The game physics take a lot of the console's processing power and on top of that you have to push twice the resolution in the hmd to get the same resolution as the flat version. If it was that easy, there would be a lot more sims on PSVR2.
@GAMERTAGVR@PlayStation@beamng It's really hard to bring vr to a sim with good physics on the PS5 hardware. You almost have to build it with VR in mind from the start.
@mixedrealityTV@DPVR_Global Yes! Thank you. I hope the MR is good on it as this is exactly what I have been looking for my sim racing setup so I can see my devices while racing.
And here we go! Live from Shanghai VRAR Expo: this is DPVR's new PCVR headset, sporting 4k microOled panels, passthrough and extremely sexy form factor. I will go hands-on later. Share this for more coverage of the launch! @DPVR_Global
@VRwithJasmine@FlatoutVR btw congrats on this one. I was really impressed by the performance and graphics when I jumped in. I think you will do well with this one as there is a lot of vr sim racers out there looking for a fun arcade style racing game to change the paste once in a while.
@ThrillOfFightVR I hope that you can also bring multiplayer player movement on par with single player. I realize that the chipsets in the meta headsets is limiting what you can do with physics but single player AI movement looks so much better.
@ThrillOfFightVR Please add value to stiff jabs in multiplayer. I find it almost impossible to win fights with footwork, solid jabs and combinations against people that are just doing wild swings.
Indie dev @ANB_Seth is making an action-movie style vr shooter where you play a professional hitman taking on the criminal underworld… one contract at a time.
• Intense realistic gunplay (VR + flat screen)
• Customize weapons & gear at your base “The Hive”
• Take on high-stakes contracts full of ruthless enemies with stealth & action
•Bring Justice where the law cannot reach
🔫 It’s called Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone. Would you play this?
