Thank you, Dr. Ryan. I still remember going through the “How to Study” section of BnB during my fourth year of med school. It truly shifted my perspective in a more constructive and effective way. I’m genuinely grateful to you for being beyond the boards in every sense.
When Boards and Beyond was new and relatively unknown, someone posted online that the videos were trash. This was back when the library was small, and I was still adding to it. I was spending a lot of my own money to run the site, and I didn’t know if it would ever be profitable. After reading the post, the next morning I got up early before work and recorded a new video. Then another one on my lunch break. I think I made ten more videos in the next week. Years later, the website had hundreds of thousands of subscribers from around the world, and it was bought by McGraw Hill, a global leader in medical education.
Don’t let the haters stop you.
Use them as motivation to work harder.
The main thing you can control in life is how much effort you put in every day. Outcomes may or may not come, but your effort is usually under your complete control.
Excited and humbled to share that our abstract has been accepted for a moderated presentation at ACC.25! Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to evidence-based medicine and for all the support along the way. Here's to many more milestones ahead!

Today, a junior asked me for observerships and how to secure an invitation letter for visa. I was busy and having so much uncertainty about the future and everything. She messaged that every other person just sent a pdf of God knows how many years old, and she has tried that and

@jasonryanmd Dr. Ryan, your article really spoke to me. Every point resonated deeply. It's like you've been reading my mind during my PS struggles lol. Your insights truly struck a chord. Thank you for normalizing the feeling.
@DrAditya2935@nihardesai7 I think the problem still lies in learning the pathophysiology of a disease which goes a long way in our career. Notes/qbanks of such platforms are still lower in quality to explain thing in a way that a person will naturally understand and apply those concepts in real life.
Great Youtube video by @VPrasadMDMPH where heme/onc attendings go through heme/onc Step 2 questions and (suprise, suprise) find them ridiculous and riddled with errors. Never, ever feel badly if you struggle with Step exams. The questions rarely reflect real life. Get the exams behind you so you can learn real medicine in the clinics and wards. https://t.co/9SW4xR1OAZ
Today I saw a tweet from a person pursuing postgraduation, at one of the most prestigious institute in India, mocking someone's lower INI-CET rank.
While his own bio boasted impressive achievements, it made me reflect:
